    2019 Columbus Farmers Market Round Up

    Nothing says summer in Central Ohio quite like fresh produce, home-made jams, artisan bread, and local music. You can find all this (and so much more) at any one of the many fantastic farmer’s markets throughout the greater Columbus area. Here are a few old favorites as well as a few newer markets as well. How many have you been to and what’s your favorite Columbus farmer’s market?

    Clintonville Farmer’s Market – Every Saturday morning from late April through October the best of the best vendors come to N High St (between Orchard Lane & W. Dundin Road) for the premier community farmer’s market. They are a producer-only market, which means that everything you see at market is grown or produced by the stall farmer or cottage food producer.

    Worthington Farmer’s Market – This year marks the 32 market season for the Worthington Farmer’s Market. Join them every Saturday morning May through October just south of 161 on High Street. Their message is simple, Encourage, support, and promote the entrepreneurial efforts of local, independent, and small-scale farmers and food artisans seeking to sell their products directly to consumers.

    Hilliard Farmer’s Market – Stop by Hilliard United Methodist Church late may through early September from 4-7 pm. The Hilliard Farmer’s Market also features weekly food trucks and you can check the schedule out here. From fresh flowers to cookies to produce to pizza you can find it here!

    Bronzeville Growers Market – A new market in the Downtown Columbus are is the Bronzeville Growers Market. Located in the historic Bethany Presbyterian Church this market not only features local vendors but also fresh produce from their community garden.

    Pearl Market – Downtown Columbus features its own market every Tuesday and Friday from 10:30 – 2:00 pm from late spring through mid October. Food trucks, hand crafted merchandise, fresh produce, and more! This year the market will be held in the North Plaza of the Ohio Statehouse. Perfect for Downtown Columbus workers and residents!

    New Albany Farmer’s Market – Sponsored by Aetna and located in Market Square every Thursday (Late June through Early September) and featuring seasonal offerings, artisan baked goods, produce, and food trucks. Most merchants are either organic or certified All Natural. Shop to the sounds of live music and enjoy the atmosphere.
